Jolanta Jagiello is an independent curator of public art exhibitions outside of museum and gallery setting. Jolanta is currently taking a durational approach to place-based commissioning at Nunhead Cemetery with public art exhibitions in Mausoleum during the weekends in May, and in the Restored Anglican Chapel during the weekends in September in association with Friends of Nunhead Cemetery (FONC) and supported by Southwark Council Community Fund.

In the past, Jolanta has organised and curated in the Annual Outdoor Group Show in the grounds of the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture (MoDA) from 2002-2007. She co-curated the first show 'Domestically Spaced' with Jo David at Space-Station SixtyFive in East Dulwich. Jolanta curated 'Open Desk After School' at the Ragged School Museum, the first exhibition set in the 19th Century Victorian classroom with the artworks 'open' to the public inside 20 of the schooldesks. This was followed by 'Dream Landings', a very successful partnership with John Lewis, Watford, which saw artworks on the pillowcases on the beds in the Bedding Department during Black History Month based on the dreams and aspirations of people settling in Britain.

'Dream Landings' was shortlisted for the 29th Arts & Business Awards in the Creativity, and Diversity categories, as well as commended at 'The Big Draw' awards for its public engagement events. Jolanta has curated as part of the Liverpool Independents with 'EdgeCentrics' in the underground labyrinth of tunnels in the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre in the year Liverpool was the European Capital City of Culture

Jolanta Jagiello was awarded a place on the Cultural Leadership Programme 'METHOD' delivered by SOLAR Associates in recognition of her curatorial practice as a form of cultural leadership, for her high aspirations for leadership development as an artist-practitioner, quality of track record and practice, and demonstrable commitment to collaborative learning and development.
