The Third Annual MoDA Outdoor Group Show on the theme of habitats from tents to bins!

The Third Annual Outdoor Group Show at MoDA provides the visitor with a range of habitats from the understandable to the absurd spread across the lawns, hanging from trees, tucked away in the woods. Inhabited by both creatures great and small, a choice of upmarket and downmarket outdoor abodes are available, including: street altar, mud castle, concrete bed, cardboard box, ants nest and carcass. Affordable prices, desirable locations on offer either side of the walkway, specifications to met all needs, from first-time homeowners to property investors. Where else could you, experience high-rise living, be reminded of cardboard city, and see a portrait of the West London lady who lives in a flowerbed. As well as, find a childrens play tent under the table, smell the remnants of a campfire, stand in a tepee, and be swept up in a tornado, all for the price of a bag of lemons. The comic simplicity of the artists approach is the underlying trend here, giving movement and colour to the art landscape before us - making it simply the great outdoors. Last year the show was full of dynamism and energy, and brought together an eclectic mixture of styles and approaches. This successful formula has been repeated under the curatorship of Jolanta Jagiello, who has delivered another outdoor outing worth the trip to the green and leafy spaces around MoDA.
